Matthew Lyster, SFG II

Matthew Lyster began in the fitness industry in January of 2012. Leaving the world of education, he found a variety of certifications before earning his level one StrongFirst certification at the Dome in Chicago. Working with kettlebells in conjunction with his barbell training, Matthew saw his progress jump by leaps and bounds. In a year's time, Matthew was able to press the 'beast', a 48 kilo (106 pound) bell. His strength was improving, but not only that, his conditioning and even flexibility were too. By owning every aspect of every movement and staying true to his practice, Matthew saw consistent growth across many aspects.
Since that first certification, Matthew has gone on to earn his level two StrongFirst certification and his StrongFirst Powerlifting certification, and assist at both level one and two certifications, helping to further his education and teaching abilities. He has also earned his level one and two Functional Movement Screening, learning how to assess an individuals movement patterns, and correctives for those patterns.
It was through these ideas that Matthew Lyster wanted to bring the StrongFirst methodology and practices to Fort Worth, Texas. This is what led him to open BellHaus Fitness and take Fort Worth to Fit Worth.

LAUREN QUIROZ Lyster, SFG I

Once a college athlete, Lauren Quiroz Lyster has trained across various disciplines for many years. In 2015, she met Matthew Lyster, SFG II and owner of BellHaus Fitness, and began training under StrongFirst methodologies. She earned her StrongFirst SFG I at the Dome of Strength at Chicago in April of 2018. Today, Lauren continues her training, with a focus on kettlebell strength and powerlifting, competing in USPA-sanctioned events.
Having found strength, confidence, and passion from within the gym, Lauren decided she wanted to introduce this same feeling to others. An advertising professional by day, she joined the coaching staff at BellHaus Fitness, teaching strength and conditioning classes, as well as leading specialty programs, such as BHFit and the BHF Beginner series. She also serves as the captain of the BellHaus Fitness powerlifting team.

Pekkala Lyster

Pekkala has yet to meet an athlete she didn't like, and even more, one she didn't want to sniff and lick. When not hanging out keeping those at BellHaus company, you can find her napping under covers on the bed, walking down Magnolia, or jumping in the Trinity River.
